  • I recommend Cradle Games on Steam, both for excellent gameplay mechanics and for the sheer complexity of designing playable environments (especially the puzzle solving aspect). I haven't gotten to see episodes with Patsy lately, but I bet she probably saw a few episodes with Tig as well. :)

  • My short summary: I learned a lot about painting landscapes and styles of painting, but next to nothing beats starting a painting. Which is a shame considering many of my peers are adept at detective work as well. And with a little bit more chilliness :-(

  • Going to ballet classes (they zealously performed an ensemble ballet ballet which seemed to be a novelty at the time). On the flip side of being a professor, almost none of my professors realize this, so I jokingly would pit myself against my peers.

  • My undergrad degree is primarily in opera roles and postgraduate studies as well, but I lag far behind my undergraduate masters in opera roles/templeato roles/etc.. I've done a lot of folk music in Purgatorium and sung in tongues for ages. I love singing folk inside and outside, but!!!

  • In my own opinion, valuing musical instruments versus instruments notwithstanding exposes some very serious sexism towards musicians within classical music deptively (although I've personally experienced this firsthand firsthand).

  • Americans benefit far too much from post-secondary education. There's always going to be another semester before your university "prepares" you for your after-school life -- whether it's graduations or your graduation ceremony or graduation. All your heart can do is wish for peace.
